Why should I donate Bitcoin?

At Jugend Eine Welt, we understand Bitcoin and share many of the community's values.

Promote economic freedom

For more than 25 years, we have helped children and young people in areas affected by poverty unlock their potential through high-quality vocational education and achieve real economic self-determination.

Act decentralized

We work in partnership and in a decentralized way with local organizations in more than 35 countries. We are convinced that people on the ground know the best solutions and should decide their own future.

Proof of work

We have documented our pioneering and labor-intensive Bitcoin journey transparently as a sign that we do not just support innovation, but actively push it forward ourselves.

Don't trust, verify

We regularly review the impact of our projects and report on it. That way, Bitcoin donors can always understand how their support makes a difference.

Your satoshis are more than money: they are future.

At Jugend Eine Welt, our core mission is helping street children return to a life with real prospects. With your satoshis, you make a safe environment, solid vocational training, and a future beyond the street possible.

Three funds.
One goal: enabling futures.

Here we explain transparently which priorities exist and how Bitcoin is used in each area.

Bitcoin Education Fund

We want to integrate Bitcoin education into our programs at technical and vocational schools and universities in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. As a first step, we are working to establish an endowed professorship in Bitcoin studies at a university in Ecuador.

Bitcoin Emergency Fund

Sats work where fiat fails. In crisis regions with collapsed banking systems or currency controls, Bitcoin donations reach our partners directly — without intermediaries, without delays. They convert locally into food, shelter and medical supplies.

Bitcoin Future Fund

Your Bitcoin donation becomes a long-term reserve. We hold it for at least four years — building financial independence that strengthens our fight against child exploitation for years to come.

We have been in Bitcoin since 2015, not since yesterday.

Jugend Eine Welt has accepted Bitcoin donations since 2015, making us the first organization with Austria's donation quality seal to do so. Today, Bitcoin is part of our DNA. We see tremendous potential in it to support education for children in poverty across borders - fast, direct, and independent.
